Round Pier Concrete Calculator

Calculate concrete for cylindrical piers or tube forms from the internal diameter, height and count.

Your project

Project sketchFrom your inputs
⌀ 12 in2 ft
Schematic, not to scale. Drawn pieces do not represent the purchase count.
Editable planning allowance; actual waste varies.
Example: QUIKRETE #1101, 80 lb. Check your product label.

How the calculation works

Volume = π × radius² × height × number of piers. Use the internal form diameter.

A worked example

Three cylinders at 12 in diameter and 2 ft high total 4.7124 ft³ before allowance.

What to check before using the result

  • The form’s outside size can overstate the concrete volume.
  • This tool counts concrete for dimensions you supply; it does not size a footing or foundation.
